Meet the Founder

Brittany L. Pelletier

BBA · Licensed CHW · Licensed Certified Recovery Support Worker (CRSW) — Founder & CEO

What began as a necessity—to understand and survive the system—evolved into a passion for helping others do the same.

Brittany brings over a decade of firsthand experience navigating the family court system—experience that is not only professional, but deeply personal. Through years of overcoming complex legal challenges, advocating for her family, and learning systems that often feel impossible to navigate, Brittany transformed adversity into purpose.

She saw how overwhelming and inaccessible these systems can be, especially for individuals and families without the resources to hire legal support. That reality led her to create J & D Family Services—an organization rooted in compassion, resilience, and practical, real-world guidance. She leverages her expertise to provide high-quality, free or low-cost document preparation services, empowering clients to overcome barriers and achieve their goals.

Why "J & D"? The name honors Brittany's children—their initials and her reason. Every family she serves is a reflection of the love and determination that built this organization.
